Nablus races 2010: The need for speed continues
The second round of the Palestinian Motor Sport races in Nablus on Friday was met with an audience of 7,000 amidst a 400-strong police officer presence. Forty-nine racers competed in two fiery rounds, achieving close scores, with judges and police eagerly awaiting the top-ten announcement.
Ambulances were stationed at both sides of the street, as well as firemen, prepared for any accident or emergency. The streets, overcrowded with spectators and racing lovers, wore racing red and Al-Wataniyeh hats and flags, who were the sponsors of the event.
